ABSTRACT In this study, synthesis of cysteamine conjugated poly(NIPAM‐co‐MECA) using cholic acid methacrylate and (N‐isopropyl acrylamide) NIPAM by free radical co‐polymerization has been demonstrated. The structure of the poly(NIPAM‐co‐MECAME) was successfully characterized through FT‐IR, 1 H NMR, and 13 C NMR spectroscopy. The number and weight average molecular weight of the poly(NIPAM‐co‐MECA‐Cys) was determined to be 8060 and 8632 g/mol, respectively, with a PDI value of 1.07 as obtained fr
