UCMP Education and Outreach program has a long history in science education , from our home page being one of the first 100 websites on the web, to our online award winning Understanding Evolution, Understanding Science, and Understanding Global Change, to our recently modernized classroom favorite What did T. rex taste like?. Our immersive escape-style game VENOMventure recently finished it’s tour at the Lawrence Hall of Science, with its next stop in Los Angeles. Our team’s research showed how effectively this game teaches families foundational principles of evolution and phylogeny. This group of self-organizing students volunteer their time, knowledge and enthusiasm during our outreach events, exciting visitors with their energy.
