How can science help prevent natural disasters or reduce their impact when they occur? This question will be at the heart of "Science in the Face of Natural Disasters", a public event bringing together researchers from the IMDEA Institutes, as well as firefighters from the Community of Madrid as part of the 2026 European Researchers' Night.
