Jennifer Hollingshead joins UT Dallas as vice president for communications and marketing. She will oversee the University’s communications and marketing enterprise, guiding efforts to enhance visibility, strengthen reputation and support strategic priorities.

The University of Texas at Dallas officially joins NCAA Division II (DII) after completing the required two-year provisional period and three-year process to change classification for intercollegiate sports.

Dr. Marc P. Christensen is named the next executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at UT Dallas. He previously served as president of Clarkson University and dean of engineering at Southern Methodist University.

After six years of work, The University of Texas at Dallas and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) celebrated the opening of the UT Dallas Station on the new DART Silver Line with a ribbon-cutting on Oct. 23.
