Makkah: Journal of Islamic Studies 2 (3): 164-174. 2026Social cooperation is an important element in education because it supports effective interaction in the learning process. According to Al-Farabi, humans are social being s who need cooperation to achieve a perfect life. This study aims to examine the concept of social cooperation in the learning process based on Al-Farabi's thought and its relevance to education. The method used is library research with descriptive analysis. The results show that the concept of al-Madinah al-Fadhilah emphasizes the importance of mutual assistance and cooperation in achieving common goals. In education, this concept is relevant to collaborative learning, which supports the development of students' character and social skills. ( direct link )
