I read that the second law of thermodynamics states: “The total entropy (disorder) of an isolated system always increases over time, and heat flows naturally from hot to cold.” Heat moves/transfers via conduction, convection and radiation. Max Plank described black body radiation as quantum emitted in a spectrum, related to thermal temperatures of the body itself. There is no indication that this is at all dependent upon any surrounding temperature. Cold bodies emit black body EM radiation as a “heat signature”. It appears Heat as blackbody radiation is lost into colder or warmer environments naturally. Q: Is back body radiation in conflict with thermodynamics in regard to heat transfer “naturally”? Why, why not?
